After A New Install This Is How I Set Up My Computer

Before I Install Updates or Software

I Will Walk You Through It 

Step By Step 

Now Left Click    Button

Now Left Click

You Are Here Now

Next Left Click  Top Left Under Control Panel

You Should Be Here

Next Right Click Then Left Click Open

You Should Be Here. Now Setup Your Click Options Like Picture Below If You Prefer Double Click You Can Always Come Back Here And Change Back Later.

As It Will Be Easyer For You To Follow My Instructions

On Single Click

 Setup  To Look Like This Below

Left Click Apply But Do Not Click Ok

Next Left Click On View Next To General

You Should Be Here Now

Move Dot To Show hidden files and folders

Uncheck Hide extentions for known file types

Uncheck Hide protected operating systems files (Recommended)

Like This

Next You Will See This Warning Below Click Yes

Now Left Click Apply --Then Left Click Ok

At Bottom Of Folder Options

Now You Are Back At Control Panel

Next Left Click Then Left Click Wheel

Next BY Defalt Wheel Settings Are Set At # 3 Set To # 1 Like This Below

Then Left Click Apply Then Left Click Ok

Now You Are Back At The Control Panel

Next Left Click Then Left Click Desktop

To The Right Of Themes

While we are setting up Windows lets set it at (none) as

it will be easyer on your eyes

Click Apply But Do Not Click Ok

Now left click Screen Saver to right of desktop

You Should Be Here Now

Click The Blue Button With The V In It Select (None)

Then Click Apply Then Click Ok

Now You Are Back At Control Panel

Next Left Click

You Should Be Here Now But Your Setting Will Be Different

First Left Click On Hibernate

Remove Check From Enable Hibernate Then Click Apply

But Do Not Click Ok

Next Left Click On Advanced And Set To Shut Down On Both

Options You See Below Then Click Apply But Do Not Click Ok

Now Left Click On Power Schemes And Set To

Home/Office Desk

Then Set Boxes Below To (Never) Like You See Below

Now Left Click Apply Then Left Click Ok

Now You Are Back At The Control Panel

Next Left Click On

You Should Be Here Now

Next RIGHT Click On

Then In The Dropdown That Appears Go To The Bottom

 Of The

Dropdown And Now Left Click On Properties

You Should Be Here Now

Below Put Checks In Both Like This

Now Left Click Ok

Now You Are Back At The Control Panel

Next Left Click On

You Should Be Here Now Put A Check in

Place Volume Icon In The Taskbar Like Below

 

Next Left Click On Adanced In Speaker Settings

You Should Be Here Now Chose Your Speeker Style In

Dropdown Box, It Will Show You A New Picture To Compair

With, Once You Have Decided Then Left Click Apply

Then Left Click Ok At Bottom

And Ok Now Left Click Apply But Do Not Click Ok

Next Left Click On Voice Then Left Click On Test Hardware

This will Open Up The Sound Hardware Test Wizard

Read Then Click Next

This Will Run A Test On Your Voice And Speekers Then 2 Boxes Will Appear

That Has Writen Across The Bottom With 3 Buttons

Block  Un-Block And Ask Me Later

Take Your Time And Left Click Un-Block On Both Of Them

Then Left Click Next

Read The Page Out Loud To Test Your Mike Then Left Click Next

Follow Instructions On Page Then Left Click Next

Now You Have Compleated The Test Left Click Finish

You Should Be Back Here Now

And  Now Left Click Apply And Left Click Ok On The

Sound And Devices Audio Properties

Now You Are Back At The Control Panel

Now We Will Setup Your To Your Name Left Click

The  Icon In Control Panel It Will Open Box Below

Left Click On Computer Administrator To Change To Your

Name Or The Name Of The Computer Owner

Now Left Click On Change Name Type In The Name You

 Want To Use Then Left Click Continue 

Then Left Click Apply Then Left Click OK

Now You Are Back At The Control Panel

Now Left Click The Red X At Top Right Of The Control Panel

You Are Now Back At Your Desktop
